My first real use of the cooktop and other assorted kitchen implements, including the infamous Global knives that Mike helped secure for me at an enormous discount.

Ribeye steak, Florentine style, with a side of grilled tomato and fresh mozarella salad, garnished with fresh basil.

… and all washed down with an icy cold Coca Cola.  Livin’ large.

JESUS CHRIST! How’d you get those lil’ squares on the steak?

I’m groovin’ on the silverware, btw.

You grill one side, then flip to the other side… then, flip it once more, but turn the steak 90 degrees as well. You get criss-cross grill marks.

Now you’re cookin’ with gas and eatin’ good in the neighborhood.
